I am thinking about how people who live by the LOA (Law of Attraction) philosophy tend to also have a stick-your-head-in-the-sand mentality. I do agree with the LOA totally and completely. I get why so many people believe they can't think about anything "bad". It's because they think they are then contributing to the bad and well a positive thinker doesn't want to do that. What these people don't know or don't get is that there is a positive way to approach absolutely ANYTHING life can throw at you. To hate any of it, to disregard any of it, to ignore any of it is to ignore God, your maker, Source - whatever you want to call it...creator of everything. Or if God is too much of a concept for you then to ignore science and quantum physics which truly supports that we are all 100% responsible for our lives and what goes on (or doesn't go on) in them.
Not many people seem to understand that word. Everything. Not just some things. Not just "good" things. ALL things. I know, from deep within myself, there is nothing "good" and nothing "bad." Those are just labels.
I was accused of not being so LOA-ish because I support the Occupy Movement. I was told that is focusing on the bad and that no good can come from that. The other person's inability to see a positive way to support the Occupy Movement was shown and from her perspective I was in the wrong and she was in the right. According to her I demonize and resent the 1%. But this was not based on anything I said. I had merely responded to a question of do I know where money comes from and who controls it. I mentioned the 13 Illuminati bloodlines and that as for creation - out of thin air in the reserve banking method. That's it. Where is the demonization? Where is this resentment? Because I have knowledge this automatically means I think they are demons and resent them? Please! Talk about putting words in my mouth. Her words. Her thoughts. Not mine. It is her own self she needed to be putting into check, not me.
I believe it's totally possible to support the Occupy Movement in an LOA fashion and most definitely made mention of it. I don't feel bad towards the people I mentioned! Hate and hard feelings will get me no where, fast. And how is it that I don't feel bad? Would I feel bad about the grade 1 student because he/she doesn't know as much or have the maturity of a grade 12 student? No. That's how I see this. The people supposedly "in control" are those who have not yet learned a better way to live life -- in time, this will change. Anyway, so I don't hate them. I wish them speedy movement forward towards loving, sharing, and better, kinder ways of life. I send them love. People probably don't believe that. I send all sorts of criminals love. That's what they need more than anything else in this world. The only thing that can create loving minds are loving minds. Knowing this (instead of assuming I *must* hate) how can one call support for the rights of all a bad thing? If the person was to do the same rather than criticizing me for paying attention to it that would increase the loving feeling going out towards these "bad" people which is FAR more effective than simply ignoring it thinking that's going to make it go away. Fact of the matter is if lack of attention was going to make it go away, it would have been gone a long time ago. It's gotten as far as it has because of how much it's been ignored and therefore simply allowed to happen!
No, I'm going to stick with paying attention - good attention - and sending loving universal energies for their growth and development away from greed and towards love. This time, I'm not wrong. Neither is the friend though. If she thinks demonizing thoughts full of resentment it is most definitely better that she simply ignore it as she would not be able to help it and indeed make matters worse.
I've talked this through enough to realize we are each right for our own selves. There is a lesson to be learned here. Concern yourself with yourself. Leave others to concern themselves about their own selves. Whatever they are doing it's right for their stage of development and like I already said, no need to hate on the grade 1 student over the grade 12 student.
