Interesting chat today!
Oh boy, I had me a seriously long chit-chat with a fellow LOAer and even with the shared basic premise I have learned it's possible to still think so damn differently!! lol ...but this time the differences didn't upset me, or bother me. The differences are what make us individuals and individuals we must be first and foremost. It impresses me that I've come this far! Once upon a time if someone disagreed with me they were automatically "stupid" and "wrong." Furthermore, I felt no need to change my thinking to match her's. That there is a HUGE milestone for me!! To maintain my ground in the face of disagreement???? Oi, that is not something I've ever really, really been able to do. And not certainly not without getting all upset.
Another degree of "ascension" for me!

What is Positive? What is not?
This is a post that is supposed to be insightful and helpful. In all ways it's true, but is it positive? Why does such a negative feeling come with the word "drama"? I mean really, everyone's life is an ACT no matter what you might think to the contrary. Everyone's physical life is an acting out of their thoughts and feelings. Some like to try and blame the act of their life on other people or on circumstance, for all the good that does. It just makes you a victim and reliant on things outside of yourself that are somehow supposed to bring you the inner happiness you seek.
Anyway, stated this way as this image has it just feels so negative and not the least bit positive or uplifting. If I was not as far along in my own thinking that I am, reading something like this would not bring me to or even point me in the direction of where I am now. The way this is stated advises nothing. It only points out the obvious in a derogatory way. It's almost like sticking out your tongue at someone who may not have yet learned this. It's like the grade 12 student taunting the grade 1 student because they know 2x=y when the other doesn't get why there would be any letters involved in doing math! Do they deserve scorn because they don't know algebra? Or do they deserve education?
My comment on the Facebook post is:

"We all create our own karma: the good, the bad and the ugly, so this is true for everyone not just those who are labelled dramatic."
At least that is advice helpful to all and against no one :)

Words on Generosity
I see this or other posts on Facebook that are similar. I don't get it. Do you? Why would I have to not know the person for an act of generosity to be "real"? Does that make any sense whatsoever? When I am generous with my family and friends it doesn't count? It's not "real"?
Chalk this up to one more post that is bad advice! Be generous. With whomever, whenever, wherever -- whether you know them or not, whether there is thanks or not. It all counts. It is all very, very REAL. :)

How to Write an LOA Article
There are a lot of amateur writers out there doing this and I enjoy reading the articles and blogs. The only thing is, most of the articles are anything BUT "LOA" in nature. It's like when they put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) they actually forget the very essence of this "law" and put their focus very much on the things they don't want and believe that no one should want. Where does anything created come from? It comes from focused attention. Focus your attention and writing on what we "shouldn't" be doing and what do you get? A whole lot more of what we shouldn't be doing!
If a person wants to teach LOA and spiritual principles to others they need to write about the right thing to do, not the wrong the wrong thing that is being done. This actually isn't easy and honestly, should be left to professional writers. Every article/blog I read that is focused on what not to do shows me someone who still doesn't quite "get it" even so they think they've got it all figured out, or at least a good portion of it.
In fact, I question the spiritual stability of anyone who still sees anything as a negative or an unnecessary thing. Nothing in this world is happening by accident or ever did or ever will. We make it all up, on purpose! Even if we don't like it we are still creating it.
Could it be that when we choose to incarnate into this physical existence we knew there would be some bitter medicine along the way that (like Buckley's cough syrup) we knew we'd have to choke down but that afterwards everything would be so much better?
Who are we to judge anyone's life lessons regardless of what their live lessons entail? Who are we to judge or take away their much needed teachers? There are no victims on this earth. That's a stupid ass term we made up ourselves that takes us so far down and away from ourselves and worst of all, a word that leaves a person powerless. From the victim mentality, there is never anything to be done that doesn't involve your attempt to change someone else.
Do you know the serenity prayer?
It's so bad in my circle that even when I'm pouring my heart and pain out on Facebook some of my so-called friends don't post a single, "things will get better," but they will post, "Buy 4 email/phone counseling session, get one free!" Friends? Yeah Right. Still, I send them my love and respect where they are at in their spiritual evolution and leave their teachers be to teach.

My point is, when one truly "gets" things they first realize there is nothing wrong in this world. Nothing that they need to be correcting or making better that doesn't have only to do with their own self, so it's not really "great advice" for another. Anyone who fully gets the LOA knows there is only one way to teach it, and that is to live it. Teach by example and praise it any and every time you see it, notice it, recognize it.
Hahaha, I laugh at myself. The Universe is so damn hilarious! Here I am speaking about something that is "wrong" in my perspective of things ;) At least this site clearly shows it's personal thoughts and opinions. Not someone claiming to be an "expert" who can teach you a better way of life, without any actual training to do so. And I guess that's all I'm saying. Check a person out thoroughly before you pay them to help you spiritually.
This is definitely pure opinion, and subject matter for another post, but I don't trust ANYONE who expects to be paid for helping you with your spiritual self discovery. That's like selling God, as if you own the Universal Power and only going to share it if I drop you a few bucks. I don't have high regard for religion, but even it does better than some spiritual teachers. Bibles are free. So is any time in counsel with the clergy.

Of all the posts I've seen so far this morning on Facebook this is on the one that caught my attention the most. This is something I have said to my ex time and time again and since he's constantly "trying" to have this work (to this very day) it would be some kind of awesome if he understood or got this. Like, how much can he really hate who I am since he's still hanging around, still wanting me? So why can't he let who I am be and just enjoy that instead of trying to turn me into something or someone I'm not? When he does this to me it just makes me feel so small, so inconsequential. As if I'm not a person but rather an object, one that he thinks he can program to be however he likes, sorta like picking options for your car or something like that. I feel so disrespected and like I don't matter at all. That the only happiness that matters is his. How fair or good or loving is that? How come he can't understand how much that hurts me? Why does he have to constantly point out his financial support and in such a way that it makes me feel bought and paid for, again, like an object not a person.
It's hard to be into appreciating and celebrating myself when he is around putting all these other ideas out there. But he doesn't know that when he does that I feel like I must fight for my very being. He doesn't understand this so he doesn't understand what is so wrong and why our relationship suffers so.
I am always going to celebrate who I am. ALWAYS!

"I'm with Stupid"
This is a post from "Global Awakening" a group or page on Facebook with the following comment, "Sometimes I feel its in the mass's inherant nature to destroy themselves... Somethings got to give at a high, universal level, and hopefully it doesn't entail further suffering..."
About:
This page provides a medium to examine humanity's unhealthy mental state by identifying the injustices, separatism, destruction, apathy, and greed, but more importantly, provide guidance to enhance our own personal enlightenment at the individual level...
Description:
Humanity is at a defining moment in its history where we can not continue to measure our progress by mass consumption, dominance over the environment, monetary value, or accept the current global apathy and separatism practiced through competition and dominance in our fellow human beings. The world is currently experiencing a collective and global conscious awakening. People are becoming aware of the universal suffering in the world, and choosing to evolve to a heightened state of peace, love, and understanding as an alternative to the infectious insanity that plagues our species.
And they can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Global-Awakening/186862431396367
Now, all in all, most people aren't going to find anything wrong with this and many will whole-heartily agree. I don't see anything "wrong" with it either however I do see opportunity for improvement :)
There are a world of people who think semantics are nothing. I'm not part of that group. I think semantics are everything. This is most likely because I understand the Universal Law of Attraction. I know that which we focus on is what comes to be. I know too, it takes a long time to train your mind to think in the correct format. This isn't our fault either. It's how we've been taught for so, so long. We really do put far too much focus on that which we don't want (even if it is simply to say we don't want it, or maybe grander and a "fight against...." - fill in your favorite thing to fight against).
Take for example the fight against bullying. Who would think badly of that? Yet, to the Universal Law the focus of that is "fight" and "bullying" -- so you're going to get more reason to fight, probably through bullying. It is far wiser to focus on what you want rather than what you don't want so that you can get the thing you want instead of more of what you don't want. In this example, focus instead on kindness, respect, tolerance and acceptance of all people.
In this post calling mankind "stupid" there is a vibration going out to the Universe about mankind's stupidity so what the Universal Law of Attraction must do is give MORE of the same vibration. It's the only thing it can do. The person who posted this also expresses an opinion that it is our nature to destroy ourselves. I wish he/she wasn't speaking of "all" as they've no right to speak for me. I believe our nature is much better and grander than that! He/she also has a focus on further suffering.
I know this person meant well but wow he/she just sent out such an intense negative vibration/order to the Universe and just helped to make things a little bit worse.
We must learn to watch or guard or to TRAIN both our thoughts and words, the deeds will follow. It really is that simple. We have make it out to be a lot harder than it is.
They say this about themselves:
