The person who posted this added the comment "lol so true" ...on the surface I can see people liking this little tidbit. But, two things:

1. Where's the proof there ever was an ark?
2. It's a good chance the Titanic never sank!

I just watched some video on that the other day. I'm gonna see if I can find it again and share here. It was very interesting possibilities and actually believable -- unlike Noah's Ark :P

There, see what you think of that? Not that it matters or changes anything or that anyone purposefully thought life with that worthless, just a plan to make some money off the insurance that went all wrong.

Fear

This quote say fear doesn't exist but here's what to do when (the non-existent thing) happens.

For me? I simply don't see fear as the enemy. Actually, I don't see much as 'the enemy'. Fear has its purpose in life, just like everything else. Our labelling things "bad" and "unwanted" is the only thing that makes them so. What we think of anything is what determines our experience with it.

In a state of fear my body's adrenaline gets pumping and a decision of "fight or flight" is made. When it's my boy having a seizure, the answer is always "fight" and  I have to go into survival mode for him, as in on his behalf. Being in a state of fear (for his life) during this makes me extremely alert to all his surroundings and every little thing going on with him and it's important to his very existence that I be that alert.

Now, if I sat around every day, paralysed with the fear that he might have a seizure, well that would not be so good. I could even, inadvertently, cause situations to arise to bring on seizures if all I'm thinking is that is a seizure is going to happen. So, I would not want fear in my life that way -- and luckily, no one involved has a fear beyond what is necessary in the moment of a seizure. But what if someone did? How best to handle that?

Hmmm, I really have no answer other than anything at all that will distract you from the feeling and replace it with something better. It's so important to take charge of our thoughts, to be responsible with them.

I wonder if the people that post things like this on Facebook know just how prejudice they are being?

This reminds me of a time when my ex had said that all the immigrants should go back to their own country. Being Metis, I put my feather on and said, "Yeah, starting with you white honkies, you can lead them all out."

I just don't understand why people think they are more privileged than others simply because they are white and speak English. Nothing about that makes white people special. The sooner they realize that the sooner we can have the better world we all "claim" to be looking for.

Opinions

Just hanging around on Facebook a bit and like everyone else my Facebook is full of my opinions. Opinions. Not necessarily facts. Or my opinions on what I believe to be the facts as best I understand them.

On other people's posts, I leave their opinions be. If I disagree I respectfully scroll on by.

I wish everyone could do that.

And no, this did not stem from a religious or spiritual post, hahaha ....was something all together different.

The Bible

In my previous post I indicated I would write a little more on this subject. I don't have that much to say though, so this post shouldn't be too long.

1. Regarding the bible why take just ONE book at the only authority on any topic? Let alone something as important as your religion?

2. It was written a long time ago for a different crowd and for different reasons than it is used for today. Originally the bible was nothing but a law book.  

3. That brings to me to the fact that religion is politics and why so many wars happen.

4. It's written in an obscure way that is not readily, easily understood. Worse, most people take only a few people's (the ministers', pastors', reverends', etc.) understanding/interpretation of it "as gospel." 

5. It's been translated so many times I have to wonder if there is an original version around any where! And even if there is the language is so old that we can only interpret it now, not know it for certain.

6. Are we really to believe that the word from God was all that time ago? Are things so perfect now on earth that there's nothing left to say or do? Nothing learned to have growth and expansion from in all this time?

7. Threatening people is abusive. Believe in me or I will make you rot in hell is a threat. What all powerful God needs to make threats? What Great Intelligence believes coercion results in love? What Great Intelligence gives Free Will only to threaten you if you use it? 

This book was written to control you, not to nurture your growth and expansion -- the only real things The Great Intelligence hopes for from you. 

Seek spirituality. On that path you will find the Real God. It isn't in religion or worship. 

It's Easter Sunday

The most talk I hear/read about today is the Easter Bunny. There's a few people talking about God but not many. Is this a good or a bad thing? Some people may automatically assume bad, but personally, I think it's good. I hope it means that there are a whole lot less "sheeple" in the world than one would believe.

I'd say I "believe in God" but for that would be like saying "I believe in 1+1=2." God is fact, not something one needs to decide if they believe in or not. That the Universe exist at all is the proof. The only thing a person really needs to decide is if the bible is where they want their information about God from or even just the only place.

Oh and I heard some person say spirituality and religion are one and the same. Oi. Now that's someone showing the whole world (along side 90% of Christians and Muslims or any other religion that has a god) who do not yet understand God. God is a component of both but both are very, very different. In spirituality there is NO religion. There is no worship. And that there is the difference between spirituality and religion. Oh and maybe the matter that politics dictates religion where as no one and nothing dictates spirituality.

I find it interesting in a world where we know change is not only inevitable, it's welcome. It's welcome because we grow and learn and the education that results from this changes our needs. What I find interesting is that people think God doesn't grow or learn or expand. They think everything about god is frozen in time or something. They don't understand who or what God is. If they did they would know that the moment God stops expanding is the same moment God starts dying.

They are so ingrained to believe the bible is the only authority on God there is, and that nothing has changed in all this time - like we didn't get smarter, didn't grow ourselves and in that growth also development of more and more understanding of what's going on around us - including God.

Let's see if I can explain my understanding of God - I admit it's not always easy for me to explain but that's why there are links to the same information from better writers provided on this page. The publication "The Freedom of Choice" is about God. The real God or the deepest understanding at this point in time, which is far deeper than even 2000 years ago of the New Testament, and how much ever time has passed since the books of the Old Testament were first written.

I have never argued *if* there is a God or not. This has pretty much been a given for all of my life. It's just the bible I've come to question. I didn't just arbitrarily accept God because someone told me to either. I know God exists because I've experienced God-Power in my life, many times over. Also, the comfort I cannot find in the bible is easily found and appreciated when I bypass other people's interpretations and go directly to the Source.

I have read about the real God from a little known source, the book that I already mentioned and that is linked to on this site. This book intrigued me right from the start because it started at the very beginning...before God...a time when there was nothing, not even "time."

The very first thing that came from the nothing was, what ultimately, we would come to call God, the very first little spark of consciousness, a tiny minuscule barely there awareness of SELF. This sentence can also be read: God is SELF (manifest more times over than we can even comprehend). The beginning was awareness of SELF. Over eons of time that SELF became more and more aware of itself, growing and expanding.

Do you know there is only one thing in this entire Universe that can create itself without any process what so ever? It creates itself with only the simple will to do so and doesn't that sound like a power we attribute only to God? We are right about that. The only thing that can create and expand itself requiring only the will to do so is intellect. Interestingly enough development of the intellect is also something no one else can do for another. I can't learn trig and then you automatically know it. Not even God can learn/know it for me! I have to decide to know it. I have to decide trig is something I want in my awareness and then learn it (grow and expand my intellect).

God, the first thing to ever exist, after all these eons of time is not just "a" great intellect. God is THE greatest intellect.

And how or why did we all come to exist? Simply, God did create us. Also, when one understands the utter fullness of it there is no argument of creation vs evolution because they truly work hand-in-hand. Remember the only reason why God exists is because it is aware of its SELF and has intelligence which automatically produces growth and expansion, um, aka: evolution. Our God is in a constant state of evolution. If it were not, it would "peak" and then start dying.

As for why God created us....who knows! I, for one, do not presume to know the mind of the greatest intelligence to ever live but people do opine as to why and the author of The Freedom of Choice is one such person. The author says after attaining such a high level of intellect that intellect decided it also wanted to experience the highest emotion: love. Personally I think this Great Intelligence is pure Love and what rings truer for me is that the Great Intelligence that was the first entity ever simply burst into what we now call the Universe (and so is everything in it).

This Greatest Intelligence/God, is the "big bang." God is the evolution that followed. Our own accounting of the first 7 days is a really bad Reader's Digest version of what happened, written and condensed by men of a time period long forgotten except as re-told in the bible. I have read in many places that the Genesis story is not complete. Keep reading and there is argument about what any of it means in the first place as well. I just finished reading at a site where the author has you wondering if there was a God or Gods. I find it interesting that the Mayan's also describe 7 days of creation (first of 9 cycles) but each "day" lasted 1.25 billion years! It's a far cry from the "week" of work that most people associate with the creation of Genesis.

I lean more towards the Mayan version of things because they seem to just account things, not put meaning into it that is mostly designed to control and manipulate people.

Personally, I think religion must be a huge insult to the Great Intelligence. Religion limits people's thinking of God and therefore, never through religion, will a person fully and truly understand God. I think religion makes God sad and is God's greatest enemy all because of its extremely limiting manner.

Back to the beginning of the Universe - this magnificent expansion. The Great Intelligence or God burst into this Universe. That means every single thing (the good, the bad and the ugly) is ALL God and it was the expansion required for its continued growth and expansion. Something it must constantly do or it will apathy and die. It is not different from our own intellect. If we stop using our intelligence it too will apathy and die.

The Mayan Calendar does an excellent job at explaining that this whole entire process has been a development of consciousness. When you do the research you will find the first level of consciousness very much encompasses even the level of consciousness of inanimate objects and it will take you right through to where we are today.

If you consider that the Great Intelligence burst itself up into tiny bits to be the stuff that makes up everything, then there is no ONE overruling God. We are what God is made up of...and if you follow the bible (I will say more about this since it's an odd thing to say from someone who doesn't think the bible is the all to end all on the word of God) it does say we were created in God's image. Of course we were. There was no other material present to create us out of. God is each and everyone of us and God is still doing what it needs to do to ensure its continued existence - learning (expanding its Great Intelligence) for the purpose of growth and expansion. Every single experience we have (all of it - from every single person) enhances the God (now Collective) Intellect.

This is a big part of why it is unintelligent of people to be religious and to continue to believe God does not expand and grow or that God wants you controlled in any way, shape or form. For God to desire this is for God to desire its own demise.

There is no "love me or else" God as the bible would have you believe. The real God, the Great Intelligence is too damn smart for that! What kind of fool do you really take all that Intelligence for? That highest Intelligence knows full well manipulated, coerced love is anything BUT love!

The bible is taken too literal. I think that's the biggest problem with the bible. Did someone learn the value of operating from and for love? Clearly, someone did. But the threat of whether or not you do is not one of Heaven and Hell or that you shall be punished if you can't find your way to Love. The bible is only saying that you will enjoy LIFE (not death) much more from the perspective of Love more than any other feeling out there.

The fact of the matter is, when you die, you go back to Source. It's the ONLY place for you to go. This is true for all life and all people. There is no judgement to decide your eternal place in heaven or hell. It's all a pure matter of fact. Whether you are "good" or whether you are "bad" you go back to Source. The Great Intelligence learns just as much from "good" things as "bad" things and as it learns it grows, expands, perpetuates its life. In this way, there is nothing (and no one) worthless to the Great Intelligence.

What the Great Intelligence would have us know is that Heaven and Hell are attitudes and they are for the LIVING and those attitudes is what makes the difference of if life is Heaven or if life is Hell. It's not an "or else" decision that God will place on you "in the end." It's a decision you place on yourself in every second of the here and now.

And you do have to decide it yourself. No one, not even God can decide it for you. God didn't create you to be "meek" or "weak." That's like saying God created itself for this purpose. It makes no sense. The Great Intelligence has but one goal - expansion so it may continue to exist. That expansion won't come from giving up your free will to live life according to yourself (and therefore learning the most possible). That expansion won't come from sitting in a church doing someone else's bidding rather than taking full responsibility for yourSELF (yourGOD) ...remember ultimately God is SELF. We are in providing the experiences the Great Intelligence requires for continued growth and life the stronger God/The Great Intelligence is! We are NOT here to follow. We are here to PIONEER. We are here for God's continued growth and expansion. We are God's own SELF.

Intelligence. Where does it come from? Thought. That's all Intelligence is. That's all God is. Thought. Nothing physical. It made all the physical up though, and my oh my it's so interesting how our thoughts work. That's the most important thing we have to learn! There is not even anything else that can serve God's expansion (or ours as we ARE the many bits God burst itself into).

Yet, we do not treat our thoughts as the power they are. Well, now, more than ever, more people are. More and more people are getting that they are, in fact, in control of this whole shabang! And of course we are. Are we not created of the God Force? The Great Intelligence? The Great Intelligence didn't burst itself into all of this for us to deny we are it. The sum of all of us and everything is what God is.

When you treat your thoughts like the God they are and you start to learn. You start to grow and expand once you realize the importance of thinking on purpose. Every single little detail in your life is brought on by you and your thoughts and feelings.

Nothing in this world is actually solid or matter. We all learn that in science. Nothing is solid because everything is made up of God/Great Intelligence -- which isn't matter. Thoughts are not matter. Thoughts are required to make matter though. Without thoughts (which is all Great Intelligence is) nothing physical or material would exist. Ultimately it is the bits of God fragmented in All that is God and God/We are learning we're more and stronger as One than our individual bits.

We must mind our thoughts and create with awareness and responsibility!

The rest of this blog will pretty much focus on that and my own personal experience with it. I really don't care if no one else reads it (or agrees even). This is a "self-help" blog ;)
